Food Safety Strategy and Management Research Center of Tianjin University of Science and Technology established in 2008, the Center (hereinafter referred to as "the Center") has evolved into a nationally recognized interdisciplinary platform through the following milestones:

• 2010 – Accredited as a Key Research Base for Humanities and Social Sciences under the Tianjin Municipal Education Commission.
• 2014 – Launched the Tianjin Food Safety Public Education Base, pioneering science communication in food safety governance.

Awarded Tianjin Outstanding Humanities and Social Sciences Research Base;
Designated among Tianjin's First University-Affiliated Think Tanks, upgraded to Tier-2 Excellence in 2018.

The Center functions under a dual governance model:
