Academic colleagues share the key elements of high-quality academic research, share the dynamics of innovation economy research and graduate student dissertation writing, and promote academic exchange and cooperation.

Expert Profile:

Tang Jialong is currently a professor at the School of Economics and Management, Tianjin Polytechnic University, and Director of the Research Center for Innovation Development Strategy. He received his Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, and PhD degree in Economics from Nankai University, and Master's degree in Social Sciences from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He was deputy director of Tianjin Institute of Science (2009.12-2017.9), and deputy director of Tianjin Polytechnic University Higher Research Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences (2018.1-2020.12, no administrative rank). 2016 Tianjin Outstanding Contribution Experts, 2013 Tianjin “131” He is an expert with outstanding contributions in Tianjin in 2016, a candidate of the first level of Tianjin “131” innovative talents in 2013, and the chief expert of Tianjin “131” innovation team in 2018. Lead Tianjin Polytechnic University Science and Technology Innovation and Industrialization Research Center was selected as the head of Tianjin Municipal Education Commission's university think tank in 2020, and Tianjin Polytechnic University Innovation Development Strategy Center was selected as Tianjin Science and Technology Innovation Think Tank in 2021. His part-time jobs include: expert of the first administrative decision-making consulting and argumentation in Tianjin, director of the Chinese Society for Science and Technology Policy Research, director of the Chinese Statistical Society, vice president of the Tianjin Society for the Study of Dialectics of Nature, and executive director of the Bohai Rim Economic Research Society. He has studied at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), the Royal Australian Institute of Technology (RMIT), and the Venice International University (VIU) in Italy, and has traveled to Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, New Zealand, and Singapore for study and exchange.

He has long been engaged in research on the innovation economy, labor economy, regional development, and science and technology strategy and policy of Tianjin. He has presided over or participated in more than 80 national, Tianjin municipal, and various projects as a responsible person or important member, and participated in the strategic research and drafting of Tianjin's medium- and long-term and 12th Five-Year Plan, 13th Five-Year Plan, 14th Five-Year Plan, as well as the research and drafting of Tianjin's science and technology development plans. He has participated in more than 80 projects in Tianjin and participated in more than 80 projects of various kinds. He has published 4 monographs, more than 50 papers, and media articles, and won the third prize in Tianjin Outstanding Achievements in Social Sciences for 4 times, the second prize in Tianjin Outstanding Research Achievements for 3 times, the first prize in Tianjin Outstanding Decision-Making and Consulting Achievements of University Think Tanks for 2 times, the second prize for 1 time, and the third prize for 1 time.
