一、Introduction to the Master of Engineering Management Program

Engineering management is applied to almost every field characterized by engineering projects, focusing on decision-making, planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and controlling engineering practices. The Program builds an engineering management talent training model that combines theoretical and practical education and highlights engineering informatization and intelligent manufacturing in the Internet era, as well as the integrated development of the supply chain, industry chain, and value chain based on our university’s research support platforms such as the Research Center of Energy, Environment and Green Development, the Carbon Neutrality Research Institute, the Research Center for Food Safety and Strategy, and the Smart Logistics Team. The program also aims to cultivate high-level engineering application type of talents who master the basic principles of Marxism and the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics, possess good political quality and professional ethics, have a systematic understanding of engineering management theory and relevant basic theories and specialized knowledge in the related engineering fields, and are expected to have strong capabilities in planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and decision-making and be able to undertake engineering management tasks independently.
