Themed Salon “A Rewarding Research Journey Walks With You”

To guide postgraduate students of the school to study documents including codes of self-discipline for scientific and technological workers, the “Five Prohibitions” for academic paper publication, opinions on further strengthening research integrity, and common issues concerning authorship in academic papers, and to conduct in-depth discussions and exchanges on scientific ethics and academic style construction, the School of Economics and Management held four themed salons entitled “A Rewarding Research Journey Walks With You” at the Hexi Campus in November. The salons were hosted by Pang Shuyu, postgraduate counselor, with Ding Guanqun, young doctoral counselor, serving as the commentator. All postgraduate students participated in the activities.

Postgraduate students from different majors delivered presentations in learning groups, engaged in in-depth discussions and mutual exchanges on scientific ethics and academic style construction. Postgraduate representatives were invited to share their learning insights during the salons, inspiring active thinking among participants, resolving their doubts and confusion in research, and encouraging students to consistently apply the learned methods into academic practice.

The school will continue to carry out education on academic integrity and scientific ethics for postgraduates, steadily advance daily academic style development, and foster a positive academic atmosphere and nurturing environment featuring truth-seeking, exploration and innovation for students.
