Release Date: 2026-10-08

On September 17, 2026, the School of Economics and Management held a work deployment meeting on integrating disciplines and majors to support industrial development in the lecture hall of the library at Hexi Campus. Li Wenfu, Party Secretary of the School, conveyed the spirits of the Tianjin Municipal Promotion Conference on Integrating Disciplines and Majors to Support Industries held on September 6. Yu Liyan, Vice Dean, laid out the school’s specific action plan. All faculty and staff attended the meeting.

Li Wenfu stressed that the school should closely focus on Tianjin’s Ten Actions for High-quality Development and the layout of the “1+3+4” modern industrial system, promote precise alignment between disciplines, majors and industrial demands, and realize the organic integration of industrial chains, innovation chains, education chains and talent chains. Yu Liyan arranged key tasks as follows: first, deeply connect with Tianjin’s key industrial chains and optimize the layout of disciplines and majors; second, dynamically revise talent training programs and advance university-enterprise co-developed courses; third, deepen order-oriented training and promote collaborative talent cultivation between universities and enterprises; fourth, implement personalized training under the “one student, one strategy” model and build an integrated linkage mechanism covering “enrollment — training — employment”.

The meeting required all program directors and academic leaders to earnestly fulfill their primary responsibility, ensure the effective implementation of all tasks, and provide strong talent support for the high-quality economic and social development of Tianjin.
