Themed Signature Activity “Uphold Academic Integrity and Abide by Academic Ethics”

To further strengthen the academic ethics development of postgraduate students, advocate rigorous and standardized academic practices, foster awareness of academic integrity and cultivate a sound academic atmosphere, the School of Economics and Management held the themed signature activity “Uphold Academic Integrity and Abide by Academic Ethics” in Lecture Hall 7.

With the active organization of the school, all postgraduates took part in the commitment signing ceremony and voluntarily pledged to “uphold academic integrity and abide by academic ethics”. The on-site signature activity enriched the connotation of ideological and political education for postgraduates and diversified campus cultural activities. It has played a positive role in safeguarding and fostering a favorable academic and research environment for postgraduate training. Participants defended research ethics and good academic conduct with practical actions.

During the event, Pang Shuyu, postgraduate counselor, emphasized the academic responsibilities and research obligations of the students. Postgraduates present stepped forward to sign on the academic style inheritance banner. The strong academic atmosphere inspired everyone on site. Postgraduates who attended remarked that this activity was highly valuable. It deepened their understanding of scientific ethics and academic style construction, helped them establish awareness of academic integrity, adhere to academic ethics and consciously resist academic misconduct. It is believed that after this activity, all postgraduates will engage in future research and study with greater enthusiasm, rigorous attitudes and standardized practices.
